You have 5 haz mat line items that are all "compatible" with a total

- Total haz mat charge for this shipment is $104.00

Example 2:
Same 5 haz mat line items but only 5,500# is compatible and 1,000# is not compatible for shipment to Alaska with the other 5,500#
- 1st 5,500# is $88.00 (5,500 x $1.60 CWT)
- Next 1,000# of non compatible = $44.80 minimum
- Total hazardous charge for this shipment is $132.80

Flat & Container Cleaning
Carriers require all dunnage to be removed from containers & flats prior to pickup and the containers are clean. Chains, binders & straps must also be rolled and secured. In the event that the tractor driver is required to do this work, it will be billed.

Personal Effects

PAF describes and ships all Personal Effects as "PERSONAL EFFECTS, RELEASED VALUE
NOT TO EXCEED 20 CENTS PER POUND".

In the event of damage or loss, you will be paid only 20 cents per pound on the claimed items. We suggest you
contact your personal insurance company and obtain a "MOVING IN TRANSIT" insurance rider. Pacific Alaska
Freightways does NOT have the ability to provide extra insurance.

All goods are rated to PAF's terminals only for customer pick-up and rates don't include delivery unless otherwise
stated on the bill of lading. Please understand that after 5 (five) days from notification that your goods have arrived,
storage charges of $10.00 per day will be assessed.

                           All Personal Effects shipments must be Prepaid To Destination by cash, credit card or certified check.
